Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of EightCoach (“we”, “us”, “our”), a monthly-only personal training marketplace. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and any activity under it.

2) Marketplace Basics

• EightCoach connects clients with independent coaches. Coaches are not employees of EightCoach.
• Coaches set their own plans (sessions/month, pricing, and any permitted trial discounts).
• Sessions reset each month and do not roll over. This structure is designed to support consistency and active training habits.

3) Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellations

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. Your billing cycle and renewal date are shown in your account.
• If you cancel, future billing stops. Your current cycle may remain active until the renewal date depending on PayPal’s policy and the status of the current billing period.
• Refunds, if any, are handled case-by-case and may depend on coach policies and payment processor rules.

4) Booking & Sessions

• Clients can request session times based on coach availability. Coaches may approve, reschedule, or decline requests.
• Coaches manually mark sessions as used. Disputes should be raised promptly through platform messaging.

5) Tips

• Clients may send one-time tips to coaches. Tips are optional and non-refundable unless required by law.

6) Prohibited Conduct

• No fraud, harassment, impersonation, or misuse of the platform.
• No attempts to exploit or bypass fees, payments, or platform safeguards.

7) Disclaimers

Fitness activities carry risk. You are responsible for assessing your own health and suitability for training. EightCoach does not provide medical advice and does not guarantee outcomes.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EightCoach is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes between clients and coaches.

9) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
